INTERVIEW: Charles Campos - Co-Founder of Space Travelers Club

Because of Bored Ape Gang community, I have more opportunities to talk to founders of NFT projects, and so I asked Charles for an interview about his journey in the NFT space and his upcoming project.

What is your background?
My brother and I moved to the US from France about 10 years ago. From UCLA in Los Angeles to Miami to NYC, I would say we have been artists, entrepreneurs, and tech nerds. We got into crypto in 2017 and discovered NFTs in 2020. Now we’re putting all our energy into creating a long-term brand that will allow people to combine their love for NFTs into Real-life experiences.
How did you come up with the idea of Space Travelers?
I wanted to bring something more, something different to each NFT holder.
I felt like we needed to add real-life value to the NFT space. Mixing the digital and in-real-life world. So, I thought, why not randomly select holders and bring them to the best events in the world, together, and every month?
How did you find a team to create this project?
This is the great thing about the NFT world; it's full of so many talented people. We had an original Art and Dev team, and we also connected with like-minded people in the NFT community and grew from there. We believe that a project is only as strong as its team and community.
What is the best thing in your opinion about Space travelers?
The fact that we are building a brand with a long-term vision that delivers real-life value to our holders.
The Space Travelers Club will allow the community to travel, meet each other, create friendship IRL and this continues on a monthly basis.
We also have more in store than just the travels, but this is where our uniqueness resides.
How do you want to stand out of dozens of NFT projects rn?
By constantly delivering to our holders, every single month. Not making them wait or hope for an announcement. Giving them the chance to go on cool real-life experience, while holding a dope Space Travelers NFT which are all Cyberpunk inspired.
What is your long-term vision with space travelers?
We have most of the travel events for the next 2 years already set.
The long-term vision for the Space Travelers Club is to become a brand, focused on entertainment, travels and tech. We have in the works partnerships with travel agencies, airlines, music events and more. There is more to it, but I can’t spill all the beans just yet! 😀
